In the year marking a major milestone – 140 years of tradition, vision, and leadership – Tikveš Winery hosted the 16th edition of its Young Wine Festival in Kavadarci. As is tradition, on the third weekend of November, and for the sixteenth consecutive year, this prestigious regional event once again brought together numerous friends, partners, collaborators, representatives of the diplomatic corps, and institutional guests. In an atmosphere filled with energy and passion for wine, attendees enjoyed young wines from the latest harvest and paid tribute to everyone involved in their creation.

In his welcome address, Svetozar Janevski, President of the Board of Tikveš Winery, emphasized the influence of Tikveš Winery on market development and the transformation of the Macedonian and regional wine industry.

“With the taste of the young wines from this year’s harvest – which truly promises exceptional wines – we share with you our passion, courage, and love for what we create. Our wines are not only a reflection of superior quality; they carry the code of centuries-old winemaking tradition, enriched with clear vision, hard work, and knowledge. Today, the wines of Tikveš Winery are synonymous with premium quality and are the most recognized products coming from Macedonia.

We succeeded in building a strong brand recognized on all continents, and, something I am especially proud of, we proved that here at home – through investment, innovation, educating people, and applying best practices—dreams can become reality. We are proud of our country and remain committed to showing that Macedonia has been a wine land for centuries and will continue to be so in the future. And that is why, when we say 140 years, we are not thinking about the past – we are speaking about the future. About change without losing our roots,” Janevski stated.

In line with the 140-year jubilee, celebrated under the slogan “Endlessly Yours”, the festival once again reaffirmed the essence of Tikveš Winery—its unwavering dedication to people, partners, and wine lovers, as well as its passion for creating authentic, distinctive wines that place Macedonia on the global wine map.

As part of the event, Tikveš Winery presented its newly rebranded portfolio of spirits, a result of the winery’s ongoing efforts to develop new products and introduce innovations aligned with current market trends and consumer preferences.

Following its long-standing commitment to supporting young talents, this year Tikveš Winery invited students from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Skopje to contribute to the creation of the visual identity of the Young Wine Festival.

According to initial evaluations by the Tikveš Winery enology team, the young wines from this year’s harvest are characterized by freshness, full flavor, and outstanding potential to become future winners of numerous international awards.

Through this event, Tikveš Winery once again confirmed its role as a true ambassador of Macedonia on the world stage and as a wine company that, through intensive investment in innovative technologies, digitalization, modern equipment, contemporary viticulture practices, and the professional development of young talent, continues to establish itself as a recognized regional leader and globally affirmed brand.
