For the sixth consecutive year, we celebrate World Crow Day on October 5, showcasing the remarkable characteristics of this popular grape variety known for its potential to produce powerful, complex, and authentic wines. This event contributes to enhancing the international reputation of the crow and boosting its recognition worldwide.

This year, “Tikveš” welcomed a group of journalists from specialized foreign wine magazines, who visited Macedonia to explore its rich wine tradition, climate, and favorable conditions for wine production. They had the chance to taste wines made from local varieties, including vranec, while discovering its unique properties and characteristics.
Additionally, “Tikveš” participated in the Wine Salon held at the National Opera and Ballet, where wine enthusiasts sampled vranec wines. The event also featured a special concert by last year’s “Ambassador of the Crow,” Kazuhiro Kotetsu, founder of the Tokyo Chamber Orchestra “Vranec,” as part of the World Vranec Day celebrations.
