Tikveš Château & Domaines’ Bela Voda Red Named Best Wine in Macedonia at the Open Balkan Wine Trophy Competition

At the prestigious Wine Vision by Open Balkan event in Belgrade, Tikveš Winery once again solidified its reputation as a leading producer of premium wines. The 2021 vintage of Bela Voda Red, a masterful blend of Vranec and Plavec, won the National Trophy for the best wine in Macedonia. This accolade adds to the wine’s long history of success, which in its latest results has 95 points from renowned wine critic Robert Parker.

The competition featured over 1,000 wines from Serbia, Albania, and Macedonia, evaluated by an esteemed panel of internationally recognized wine judges, including seven Masters of Wine, chaired by Balkan and Southeastern European wine expert Caroline Gilby MW.

Tikveš’ presence at the fair was further highlighted by its engaging wine presentations and a series of masterclasses from top wine experts, enhancing the experience for visitors and showcasing the excellence of Macedonian wines on the international stage.
