Five Tikveš wines have won high awards at the prestigious wine competition “Citadelles Du Vin 2020“, which is traditionally held nearby Bordeaux in France. Gold medals were awarded to three wines from the premium brand platform “Tikveš Châteaux & Domainеs“, namely to “Domaine Lepovo Grand Cuvée 2016“, as well as to “Vase de Pierre 2018“ and “Terrasse à L’Ombre 2018“ from the French winery Château de Gourdon, which is part of што е дел од Tikveš. Also one more golden medal was awarded to “Vranec Special Selection 2017”, which is made from indigenous grape variety Vranec. In addition to this, red wine “Barovo 2017” has also won a distinguished award – “MACEDONIA SPECIAL PRIZE“.

This notable success has been accomplished in the competition of 719 wines from 29 different countries, among which several from the Balkan region. By winning the five highest awards, Tikveš Winery has, once again, confirmed its position as the leading and most successful winery in the region.
