At the international wine competition held during the Wine Vision by Open Balkans fair in Belgrade, our Barovo Red 2019 triumphed with the highest honor—Trophy in the category of red wines made from indigenous varieties.

In addition to this top accolade, Tikveš and Tikveš Châteaux & Domaines secured 14 more medals. Gold medals were awarded to Domaine Lepovo Chardonnay 2020, Vranec Luda Mara 2019, and Alexandria Cuvee (rosé) 2021, while platinum medals went to Barovo Red 2019, Barovo Red 2015, and Bela Voda Red 2015. Silver medal winners included Bela Voda White 2021, Domaine Lepovo Chardonnay 2021, Bela Voda Red 2019, and Domaine Lepovo Grand Cuvee 2019. Bronze medals were awarded to Viognier Bela Voda White 2021, Sauvignon Blanc Barovo 2021, Grenache Blanc Bela Voda 2021, and Domaine Lepovo Pinot Noir 2019.

Showcasing the finest Macedonian wines, Tikveš was the sole winery from our country to host a special masterclass workshop at the fair. This workshop highlighted the authentic characteristics and superior quality of wines produced in unique climates and microlocations, which contribute to the distinctive, striking character of the wines within the Tikveš Châteaux & Domaines brand portfolio.
