The new premium red wine “Terrasse à L’Ombre 2018”, produced by “Tikveš Châteaux & Domainеs”, won a double gold medal at the first grand international wine competition of the year, held at Hong Kong, China – “China Wine & Spirits Best Value 2020”. The double gold medal, which is the highest trophy awarded at this prestigious wine competition, has been won in competition with the most renowned wine brands in the world. They have been selected and evaluated by a team of 100 wine judges, nominated by the greatest wine importers, restaurants and specialized shops in China, which import wine valued at over USD 20 billion annually.

The premium wine “Terrasse à L’Ombre 2018” is produced at Château de Gourdon winery, located in the southern part of the Rhone valley in France, which, since November 2018, is a constituent part of Tikveš Winery. “Terrasse à L’Ombre 2018” is the sixth premium wine of the renewed portfolio of Château de Gourdon that, as of recently, has become also available to the Macedonian connoisseurs of premium quality wines.

This premium wine is an ideally balanced coupage of the varieties: Syrah – 65%, aged in new French Oak barrels and Grenache Noir – 35%, aged in concrete tanks. It is characterized by a unique dark purple colour and accentuated forest fruit aromas, dominated by blueberry and raspberry, and complemented by notes of pepper, sweet Oriental spices and aromatic herbs. There is also a hint of liquorice flavour.
